Ticketfly has been in the news a lot recently. You may have seen our CEO Andrew Dreskin on Bloomberg TV discussing the future of live events technology, or articles about the great perks we offer our employees (like free concert tickets and paid volunteer time off), the successful launch of our partnership with Burning Man, and how we’re helping push the live events industry forward with a progressive technology platform and unparalleled service.
We wouldn’t be where we are today as a company without the rapid growth we’ve seen since our inception, and last year we continued to be unstoppable. In 2013, Ticketfly reached over half a billion dollars in gross ticket sales, only four years after selling our first ticket, and processed over 11 million tickets, enough to reach from Seattle to Los Angeles. The team also released Ticketfly Fanbase, the first-ever customer analytics suite for live events, launched our first international office in Canada, and added some of the best venues, promoters, and festivals in North America to our family, including Higher Ground, Cat’s Cradle and Black Cat (two of the coolest cats on the East Coast…), the Toronto Festival of Beer, and the Pitchfork Music Festival.
