Mo Morrison has been an All-Star player in the live events industry since he was first inspired by the Woodstock Music & Art Fair in 1969, and now he’s the first ever inductee into the New Parnelli Hall of Fame. The Parnelli Board of Advisors is made up of the biggest names in event production and live touring, and they thought it was about time to create a Hall of Fame for the industry.
Mo’s career is one for the books. He started out as the stagehand, then stage manager, at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, and then made a smooth transition from tour management to television production. He’s been involved with many major league productions, from award ceremonies to legendary performances from the Grateful Dead, Prince, Michael Jackson, and Britney Spears (to name a few).
As a producer of Virgin Mobile FreeFest with our CEO Andrew Dreskin, Mo’s a good friend of Ticketfly, and we’re proud. Well-deserved.
“…Mo is an obvious first choice. From his early days as a stagehand through his current gargantuan task of being tour director of Lady Gaga’s amazing show, he’s been part of some of touring history’s biggest moments.” – Terry Lowe, Executive Producer of the Parnellis
“I’ve had the great fortune to work with Mo on numerous events over many years, and I can tell you he is for sure a hall-of-famer. He is the Michael Jordan or Barry Bonds (well, besides the steroids) of event production. He is also one of my dearest friends — as far as friends go, he is in the hall of fame for sure. – Andrew Dreskin, Ticketfly CEO
