For live event promoters, marketing’s often costly, time-consuming, and never-ending. As fans, we’re faced with a million distractions and still end up missing events when we meant to buy tickets. Just over two months ago, we started tackling that exact problem: how we can help re-engage fans who’ve expressed intent (or who left tickets in their cart) without adding more work to the mix. With 4th of July weekend here, it’s only right that new partner RPM Presents rings in the holiday with a BANG!
We just announced that Jam Productions, one of the largest independent concert promoters in the United States, is the latest to join the Ticketfly platform. I am thrilled to welcome them to the Ticketfly-Pandora family!
Ticketfly will now be the exclusive ticketing technology provider for three of Chicago’s best venues—the Riviera Theatre, the Vic Theatre, and Park West—plus select Jam events throughout the midwest. This new partnership is another illustration of our move upstream into larger venues and promoters. From routing tour dates to haggling over deposits and pre-tax expense deductions, booking and settling shows is more tedious than glamorous. Last November, the whole process got a heck of a lot easier with our beta release of Ticketfly Promoter, the world’s first end-to-end product for calendar management, offer creation, and settlement. Based on user feedback, today we’re expanding Ticketfly Promoter with the launch of default offer templates so you can focus on deal-making instead of data-entry.

No matter what your jam is, we’ve got you covered like SPF 70.
We’ve got some awesome people in our ‘fly fam. Our very first partner, Pete Shapiro, is one of them, though we’re not the only ones who feel that way about the music impresario.
Pete will be honored for his many contributions to the music world on June 8 during the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn Festival Opening Night Gala, which kicks off the 38th season of the free concert series. Pete’s impressive resume includes opening famed venues such as Brooklyn Bowl and The Capitol Theatre, founding the Lockn’ Music Festival, publishing Relix Magazine, producing various music films, and promoting last year’s “Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of Grateful Dead” concert series.
