Rams Head Productions, a top promoter in Maryland, today announced a partnership with Ticketfly, the progressive ticketing and marketing platform. From now on, all advance tickets to new shows at Rams Head Live in Baltimore and Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis will be sold exclusively by Ticketfly. Starting with the summer 2013 season of events, Pier Six Pavilion, one of the premier outdoor live entertainment spaces in the country, will also be working with Ticketfly.
To celebrate the launch of this partnership, Rams Head and Ticketfly teamed up for a Black Friday promotion, waiving service fees entirely on all shows on sale at both venues, which ended up tripling sales for Rams Head for the day on November 23rd.
According to Erin McNaboe, Principal at Rams Head Productions: “Ticketfly’s integrated marketing tools also allow us to put events on sale quickly and save us time in promoting our shows via email and social media, allowing us to focus on putting on the best shows possible.”
For Rams Head customers, Ticketfly makes buying tickets convenient, quick, and easy. Ticketfly’s purchase experience promotes social discovery and sharing behavior, which leads to greater exposure for Rams Head events and more ticket sales. “We’re very proud to be partnering with Rams Head Live and Rams Head On Stage,” said Dan Teree, Ticketfly’s co-founder & COO. “As part of our growing roster of top venues in Maryland, they will play an integral role in changing the way that venues and promoters sell tickets by tapping the social and mobile web. We’re excited to see how Rams Head leverages our platform to improve the live event experience.”
