Ticketfly found the perfect date night. World Cafe Live, a bistro-style music venue with locations in Philadelphia and Wilmington, Delaware, ”where the music cooks and the food rocks.” We’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with World Cafe Live and to have them on our team.
It’s hard to find a music venue where you can grub on duck confit. WCL provides an intimate space where you can enjoy performances from emerging artists, including past performers like Adele, Ellie Goulding, The Civil Wars, Alabama Shakes, and many more.
Both WCL Philly (est. 2004, and the home of public radio station WXPN) and Wilmington (est. 2011) have been designed with top-grade hospitality in mind. Every detail has been designed to optimize the live performance experience, from sight lines, lighting and acoustics, to green rooms, equipment access and concierge service.
Not only is WCL a great place for a date, but they also host Peanut Butter and Jams (Wilmington shows here): a family-friendly Saturday lunchtime program that offers a fun and interactive live music experience for kids and parents. Tired of going to the same park and movie theater every weekend to entertain your kids? Mix up family time!
The new World Cafe Live in Wilmington is located in the historic Queen building: an enormous (45,000 square-foot) landmark that was originally built in the late 1700s as a hotel. Click here to check out the full history of The Queen.
Upcoming shows at WCL Philly include Lianne La Havas, Fort Atlantic, and Rhett Miller. Here’s the full schedule. Upcoming shows at WCL Wilmington include: Travis Tritt, Aimee Mann, and Mickey Hart. Here’s the full schedule.
