CHANCE THE RAPPER

Chance the Rapper is an independent 19-year-old rapper from Chicago. So far, he’s released two (completely free on Datpiff) mixtapes, Acid Rap and 10 Day, and fans are already anticipating more work out of this up and comer. He’s been in the studio with Twista, Childish Gambino, Action Bronson, Ab-Soul, and many of rap’s greats, so Mr. Bennett is frankly becoming hard to ignore.

NO

We can’t help but say “YES” to the band NO [Los Angeles]. After the release of their EP “Don’t Worry, You’ll Be Here Forever” in 2011, they started getting a lot of attention in their local Echo Park scene. More recently, NO opened up for Best Coast, Electric Guest, and toured through Europe with Father John Misty, so they’re starting to gain international recognition. They just released their debut album, “El Prado”, released by Arts & Crafts in North America.

CHIODOS

Chiodos is a post-hardcore rock band from Michigan, and they’ve had a solid following since they first starting making music in 2001. Fans are highly anticipating their new tour and the release of their newest album, Devil (coming April 1st, 2014). According to their Facebook, Chiodos love cheeseburgers, knitting, and Magic the Gathering.
