Continuing our adventures through the Southwest, Ticketfly has just linked up with one of Arizona and New Mexico’s best known promoters- Danny Zelisko! And we’re honored to be a part of the Grand Opening of The Foundry on 1st, his new venue in Downtown Phoenix. Housed in a historic warehouse, The Foundry will bring top touring acts to up to 1,500 music fans, right in the heart of the Phoenix action.
Danny Zelisko is no stranger to show promotion. He’s been bringing live music to the Southwest since 1974. He’s put on shows with The Police, Talking Heads, KISS and many more. Danny says, “My focus was always on putting the right acts in the right places at the right time with the right ticket prices in order to maintain fun and excitement for audiences and artists alike.” Sounds like a winning combo to me! And we’re lucky enough to sell those tickets. Seasoned promoters who have been in the game for 30+ years are finding out that there’s a better way to promote shows! Check out DZP’s Ticketfly-powered website, complete with Facebook RSVPs and commenting, and branded purchase pages. And since we launched our Analytics Dashboard, I can see that in the short time Danny Z has been on sale, roughly 1/4 of those sales have come from our marketing platform alone. How great is data?!
But back to the music. If you live in the Phoenix area, this weekend’s festivities are not to be missed. The Foundry on 1st is kicking off its run with two nights of New Orleans rock ‘n roll staple, Cowboy Mouth. “As frontman Fred LeBlanc has said,’If The Neville Brothers and The Clash had a baby, it would be Cowboy Mouth.'”
