Welcome, Spike Hill in Brooklyn!

by Eboni Jones, Ticketfly Marketing Intern

Spike Hill, nestled in one of the most happening neighborhoods of Brooklyn, Williamsburg, is a great place to visit for live music, food and libations! Noted for its Scotch selection this is one place that according to locals is, “not overtaken by hipsters.” (which is a big deal in this part of town!)

There’s a live music/ bar side and also a restaurant side. Everything you need for a great night out. Spike Hill has a good selection of beers on tap and incorporate seasonal and local breweries into the mix. If you’re hungry before a show, they have great table service and quiet booths where you can talk and hear your own voice.

It’s one of the easier places to find in the ‘Burg as it’s right across the street from the Bedford subway stop. On your way inside you may want to ‘cop a squat’ on the bench out front that gets just as much love as Spike Hill itself. It’s a perfect spot to chill and people watch, I mean why else are you in New York City.

There are some exciting things happening at Spike Hill for the rest of 2011! Giving you more reason to stop by and check it out! This month they’ve got Gym, Deer and Cassetttes Won’t Listen rolling through. There’s even a special New Year’s Eve show with O’Death that goes until 4am!

Past Shows: NYC Popfest 2011, Casiokids, Lizzie & The Makers
