ArtPadSF: Shaking Up Art and Music at the Iconic Phoenix Hotel

Apr. 19, 2013

ArtPadSF, a boutique and avant-garde art fair, is returning to The Phoenix Hotel in San Francisco May 16th-19th. The city’s most provocative hotel will be filled with contemporary art installations from first-class local and international artists. Whether you’re an art enthusiast looking to add a piece to  your collection or just want to have a good time, mark your calendar for ArtPadSF. Get your 1-day ($15) or 3-day ($35) passes now.

The Phoenix is an iconic rock-n-roll landmark here in San Francisco’s Tenderloin district. Everyone from the Red Hot Chili Peppers to John F. Kennedy Jr. have laid their head to rest at the Phoenix (it’s also a chic Joie de Vivre hotel). Voted the #1 Hippest Hotel by Travel and Leisure magazine in 2012, the Phoenix is the ideal location for ArtPadSF. The hotel rooms will be taken over by galleries and curatorial projects.

In its third year, ArtPadSF is a crossroads for artists and an exceptional marketplace for art. In 2011 and 2012, thousands of people attended, as well as the local and national press. ArtPadSF 2013 will surely create another energetic stir in the world of fine art and culture.

Don’t worry. If all the amazing art is overwhelming, the bartenders will be prepared. Chambers, the hotel lounge (and restaurant), has an amazing menu. Order a dirty martini and explore.

It’s going to be an amazing weekend. In the meantime, make sure to follow ArtPadSF on Tumblr, Twitter, and Instagram.
