We’re pretty well known for our work in live music, but Ticketfly clients span all kinds of entertainment, from boarding tall ships to drinking pink wine. No matter what kind of fun, we work with the best, and that’s never been more true than with our current roster of beer festivals, which have been cleaning up on “best-of” lists and awards ceremonies around the country.

Two of our partners, Northern Lights Rare Beer Fest and Philly Craft Beer Festival, were both named to’s list of best beer fests to visit in 2015. It’s no surprise why. The Northern Lights Rare Beer Fest, held in St. Paul, MN in March, features rare, vintage, and specialty beers you won’t find anywhere else. This unicorn-filled beer festival showcases the creativity, skill, and insanely refined taste buds of the top craft brewers in the country.

Meanwhile, the Philly Craft Beer Festival (recently named one of the top 10 beer festivals in the country by Forbes Traveler), offers more taps than one person could ever pull, with over 75 breweries from Philly, the US, and abroad participating. Lynda Calimano, co-owner of Starfish Junction Productions, which runs the festival, tell us: “By using the easy-to-navigate Ticketfly platform for our ticketing and reporting, we’re able to spend more time on the selling and marketing of our festivals—two key things that directly impact our success.” We hear they also have some of Philly’s best food trucks serving up cheesesteak, and the proceeds from the event go to benefit the Philadelphia Committee to Benefit the Children. Seriously—fill ‘er up!

Finally, this year the United States Beer Tasting Championship, on a mission to discover the best beers brewed in America, found what it was looking for at Cigar City Brewing in Tampa. Cigar City won six of the Best of the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast awards and took home four national Grand Champion awards. Ready to belly up to the bar? Here’s what you should order:

  • Big Sound: Mid-Atlantic/SE and National Grand Champion in Scottish-style Ale

  • Warmer Winter Winter Warmer: Mid-Atlantic/SE and National Grand Champion in Barleywine

  • Leon: Mid-Atlantic/SE and National Grand Champion in Non-whiskey Barrel/Wood-aged Beer

  • Hunahpu’s Imperial Stout: Mid-Atlantic/SE and National Grand Champion in Bean Beer

  • Good Gourd: Mid-Atlantic/SE Champion in Spice Beer

  • Marshal Zhukov’s Imperial Stout: Mid-Atlantic/SE Champion in Imperial Stout

Beer lovers: Grab your favorite pint glass and top off at any one of these world-class events, or simply search “beer” on to find one in your area. Bottoms up.
