Flyers are always looking for new music and planning their next show. We’re a bunch of music freaks and geeks, and we love to share our favorites. Here’s some of the music we’re enjoying this month, from Be Forest to The Wood Brothers. Listen up!

Name: Sarah
Department: Client Success
Now playing: The Wood Brothers – Postcards from Hell
Best concert experience: Phish @ Northerly Island in Chicago. It rained so hard all 3 nights that my contacts fell out. The last night was particularly bad & people were abandoning the sold out floor, but once the rain cleared and they came back on everybody lost their minds—esp when they played “The Lizards.”
Next upcoming concert: Gene Ween does Billy Joel @ Underground Arts
Most recent album purchase: D’Angelo – Black Messiah
Favorite lyrics: ‘I tied my boots up tight and I head straight to bed / There’s a pistol and a crystal underneath my pillow / There’s a spirit in the air, there ain’t to way around it / I was not prepared to lose it all the moment that I found it” – “That Old Black Hole” – Dr. Dog

Name: Adam
Department: Marketing Services
Now playing: The Crystals – Please Hurt Me
Best concert experience: Watching Chelsea Wolfe literally brought me to tears once
Next upcoming show: The Jesus and freaking Mary Chain (yessss) at The Warfield
Most recent album purchase: Earthbeat by Be Forest
Favorite lyrics: “I’m a street walking cheetah with a heart full of napalm” – Iggy Pop

Name: Christopher
Department: Customer Support
Now playing: David Bowie – Aladdin Sane
Best concert experience: Such a tough question! Best experience would probably have to be Morrissey throwing his shirt into the crowd and fighting with hundreds of other people for it. I got away with the collar (Dolce and Gabbana classic fit). How can you top that experience? Best show, though? Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds at The Warfield. Being in a room with Nick Cave is like nothing else. God and the Devil both come out of him. It’s a religious experience.
Next upcoming concert: Jesus and Mary Chain, also at The Warfield (see you there, Adam)
Most recent album purchase: King Woman Doubt
Favorite lyrics: “I give in to sin, because you have to make this life livable” – Depeche Mode

Name: Maia
Department: Marketing Services
Now playing: Leftöver Crack – Fuck World Trade
Best concert experience: I was fortunate enough to catch Streetlight Manifesto play a hometown show last year in New Jersey. It was an incredible night of skanking and screaming the lyrics at the top of my lungs with a room full of the friendliest people. So much positivity.
Next upcoming concert: Desaparecidos, Touche Amore and Joyce Manor at The Regency
Most recent album purchase: Tiny Moving Parts – Pleasant Living
Favorite lyrics:  “It’s a choice to be grateful” – Rebelution

Name: Aiden
Department: Marketing – Visual Design
Now playing: THEESatisfaction – EarthEE
Best concert experience: Lucius at the Independent! During the encore they got into the middle of the crowd and played.
Next upcoming concert: Ibeyi at the Independent and then I’m headed to Sasquatch Music Festival in May.
Most recent album purchase: Caroline Smith (I would highly recommend a listen if you’re not familiar)
Random fact: This is more of a random concert experience. During Outside Lands 2013 I was front row for John Stamos’s (Uncle Jesse from Full House) impromptu bongo playing during Willie Nelson’s set. It was magical, and hilarious and a experience I won’t ever forget.

Name: Robyn
Department: Marketing Services
Now playing: Shamir, Braids, T.O.L.D.
Best concert experience:  I recently caught Billy Idol dancing with himself at The Fox Theater, and it was pretty epic.
Next upcoming concert: San Fermin at The Independent
Most recent album purchase: Lucius – Wildewoman
Random fact: My first concert was MC Hammer with my dad, and my dad can still do a mean “Hammer Dance.”
