Last week, our friends at I.M.P Productions announced Ticketfly as their ticketing partner for The Anthem, D.C.’s most-anticipated new venue and I.M.P.’s latest contribution to a vibrant music scene in and around the nation’s capital.
Our CEO and co-founder, Andrew Dreskin, says: “Ticketfly’s relationship with I.M.P. has been one of the highlights of our company’s history. From general admission clubs to reserved amphitheaters, we’ve grown together, and it’s fantastic to see that growth continue with The Anthem. I predict this new venue will quickly ascend the ranks of top venues in the country. Every band is going to want to play there, and we couldn’t be prouder that I.M.P. has chosen us as a partner.”
Our partnership with The Anthem is the cherry on top of the long-term renewal agreement we’ve entered into with I.M.P, one of our longest-standing and marquee clients. I.M.P.’s other venues in and around D.C. include the legendary 9:30 Club, the 19,000-cap Merriweather Post Pavilion, and the Lincoln Theatre.
I.M.P. is in good company: Over the last few years, we’ve seen major growth in our presence across the mid-Atlantic region. The local ‘fly fam is now around 100 partners strong and includes top names like:
DC: 9:30 Club, Black Cat, The Hamilton, Lincoln Theatre, Echostage, Soundcheck, 6th and I, U Street Music Hall, Rock & Roll Hotel, Broccoli City Festival, National Cherry Blossom Festival
Baltimore: Baltimore Soundstage, Ram’s Head Onstage, Merriweather Post Pavilion, Moonrise Festival
Philly: Underground Arts, Johnny Brenda’s, Trocadero, Union Transfer, World Cafe Live, Ardmore Music Hall
Last year, we sold close to 1M tickets and processed nearly $28M in gross sales for live events in Washington, D.C. alone. Even better, the clients that make up the majority of our presence in D.C. have collectively grown their businesses by 15% over the last two years on our platform.
In addition to our easy-to-use all-in-one software, marketing expertise, and a hard-won reputation for the best client and fan service in the biz, we’re also proud to champion independent venues and promoters all across North America. These music industry pros have unparalleled local knowledge, an unwavering focus on providing the absolute best fan and artist experiences, and care deeply about investing in their communities. This group of people deserves the best technology—and the best technology partners—out there, which is why we get up and come to work every day. We’re striving to support and grow the independent music scene from coast to coast, and we’re seeing results.
Ticketfly is more than a ticketing company—it’s a movement attracting the best live event promoters on the continent. Ready to join us? Get in touch.
