The Roxy, Icon of the Sunset Strip, Teams Up with Ticketfly

Aug. 27, 2013

We’re truly honored to announce that the legendary Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood is one of Ticketfly’s newest partners (complete with a brand new website). The Roxy has been a staple on the Sunset Strip since acclaimed producer Lou Adler opened up shop in ’73, and is now run by his son Nic Adler, who is also responsible for the Sunset Strip Music Fest and LA’s epic Vegan Beer Fest.

As he explained in an interview in Venues Today about the partnership, Adler made the switch to Ticketfly because he wanted a technology partner, not just a ticketing company.

“The Roxy is in the pantheon of great rock venues. We couldn’t be happier to work with them to keep making live music history on Sunset.” Andrew Dreskin, CEO Ticketfly

The Roxy embodies an ever-evolving Californian attitude and holds firm ground in the LA music scene. Hundreds of legendary artists have blessed Roxy’s stage, including Bob Marley, Adele, Nirvana, Weezer, and Guns N’ Roses. After forty years and counting of great shows, The Roxy boasts an extensive collection of artist performance photos that adorn the club’s walls. They also have the best grilled cheese sandwich you’ll ever eat at a concert. Some great upcoming shows at the Roxy include: The RoyalsA Dangerous Summer, and Dirt Nasty.
