One of the newest members of our Board of Directors is also one of the newest CFO’s on the CNBC Global CFO Council. Chad Cohen, Chief Financial Officer of ZIllow Group, has joined the collection of CFOs from leading companies to provide CNBC viewers and readers thought leadership, analysis, and insight on today’s complex business environments.
It was no surprise to us that Chad was invited to join the elite group representing public and private companies from various industries. Chad led Zillow’s finance team from venture-backed days all the way to IPO in 2011. In 2013, he was named “CFO of the Year” by the Puget Sound Business Journal, and in April of this year, Chad joined Ticketfly’s Board of Directors.
The CNBC Global CFO Council members share their frontline insights and unique views on key issues and challenges facing today’s CFOs on a regular basis covering everything from earnings, cash flow, and regulatory scrutiny, to new business models, products, and markets. The role of the CFO is certainly an evolved one in today’s economy, and most especially following the 2008 financial crisis. The council regularly rotates to discuss a breadth of issues throughout the quarterly earning cycle.
“It’s an honor to bring my perspective to this already insightful table of finance executives and peers. The Zillow Group has had some fantastic accomplishments over the last decade, and those lessons and successes can now help shape some of the future leaders and companies to come.”
– Chad Cohen, CFO, Zillow Group
