It may feel like just yesterday but in fact it was 8 years ago today that Ticketfly sold its first-ever ticket. It was for Lebowski Fest at NYC’s Brooklyn Bowl, who were our very first partner. We take a lot of pride in the fact that Brooklyn Bowl gave us– then a scrappy untested ticketing startup– a shot.

We’ve grown a great deal since. Ticketfly now partners with more than 1800 venues and promoters across North America, and powers the world’s largest network of live event websites (800+). In 2015, after being named one of the most innovative music companies by Fast Company, we joined forces with Pandora to build the world’s most powerful music platform. Today, we’re leading a movement that’s revolutionizing ticketing, marketing, and services for live events.

In that same time, Williamsburg’s combination concert venue-restaurant-bowling alley has grown a lot too. Created by Peter Shapiro and Charley Ryan, Brooklyn Bowl successfully launched new spaces in Las Vegas and London, and hosted its first-ever industry confab earlier this year, the Relix Live Music Conference. More importantly, the Bowl has hosted 8 years of magical and memorable live music moments spanning many genres, including intimate performances from heavy hitters like Kanye West, Adele, Guns N’ Roses, and Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant.

Later this month, Brooklyn Bowl will commemorate its 8th anniversary with A Brooklyn Blast! Celebrating 8 Years of Brooklyn Bowl, a series of fourteen inspired shows over 8 nights, kicking off on Thursday, June 29th.

As one might expect, the line-up is a scorcher, representing a mind-blowingly eclectic assortment of styles with artists such as Red Baraat, French producer Fred Falke, funky rockers Ripe, two installments of Questlove’s Thursday night party Bowl Train with Talib Kweli and Pete Rock, and even the Williamsburg Salsa Orchestra and Stooges Brass Band. Tickets are on sale now and Brooklyn Bowl is even offering a #FOMO-busting 8 Night Pass for only $70.
